Favorite Pins Friday!!

TGIF!! It's almost the weekend. Having to go back to work the day after the 4th of July really confused my body into thinking it was Monday! To help my day go a little faster (of course after all of my work was done), I decided to participate in Favorite Pins Friday that The First Grade Parade blogger is hosting!

I typically try to steer away from the food tab on Pinterest if I have an empty stomach, but luckily I just ate and I think I can handle it...ENJOY

These homemade Samoas Girl Scout Cookies by Just a Taste are absolutely amazing. These are my favorite Girl Scout Cookies, but when I eat through my 50 boxes of cookies in a week...what's a girl to do? Homemade cookies, duh! 

Find a smoothie for anything from Whole Living! These sound delicious and refreshing.

The BIG Day!

So, as I mentioned in my previous post my sister is getting married a week from tomorrow so I've had wedding fever for awhile and have just been living the experience through her! I'm so excited to be standing next to her at the alter while she marries her best friend. Some day, I will be thankful I pinned all of these extraordinary ideas so I can make my dream wedding come true!  

First, the dress! I am in love with this dress I saw on The Knot. I am tall and slender so I have always envisioned myself wearing a mermaid/trumpet gown...but who knows, that might change!

Shanty 2 Chic has provided pinners with FREE printable banners that can be used at any wedding, party and even classroom!

A tent wedding by Aorents is stunning! Lets hope the weather cooperates!

Just the Beginning!

Good Morning Everyone!

Since I'm starting my student teaching this Fall, I decided I should start a blog to share all of my new experiences and learn from other bloggers! I would like to thank my friend, From Tractors to Teaching, for helping me get this blog started and being so patient while I attempt to figure everything out!


Summer is half way over for me...where has it gone? I still have yet to lay pool side, go on a vacation or really do any summer related activities! But no fear, I still have 42 days (yes, i'm counting down) until school begins and I intend to make the most of it!

My remaining summertime days are going to be quite busy, actually; my sister is getting married in a little over a week (07/13/13), i'll be taking a small vacation to Colorado, helping my dad clean out our basement and preparing myself for student teaching this Fall.

So, stick around and watch this eager teacher begin her blogging journey!
